If you're THE ONE everyone goes to but no one checks in on…
The one who always knows what to do yet...
You overthink every conversation.
Rewrite texts five times.
Wonder if you said too much, or didn’t say enough?
You can't relax without feeling guilting because "there is always something to do."
You're tired AF but wired at night and still pushing through your day.
If asking for help feels damn near impossible... because you don't want to burden anyone.
You're in the right place!
That’s not a personality trait... that’s hyper-independence.
It’s how you learned to survive and navigate life, to protect yourself from more being hurt again.
But now it’s got you running on fumes, stuck in the same cycles.
And let’s be real, weekly 50-minute sessions just aren’t cutting it anymore.
What Hyper-Independence ACTUALLY Looks Like
(and why you don’t see it)
Clients don’t walk in saying; “Hi, I’m hyper-independent and it’s ruining my life.”
They say things like:
“I don’t know how to relax. My brain never shuts off.”
“ I just do everything myself. It's easier and quicker then explaining it to someone else.”
“If I don’t hold it all together, it will fall apart and I don't have time for that shit.”
“I hate asking for help. It feels like a weakness or I'm burdening someone with my stuff.”
“I don’t even know what I need half the time. I just know I’m fucking exhausted.”
"This is just how I am. I’ve always been this way."
"It's not that big of a deal, other people have it worse."
If any of that hits a little too close to home, keep reading.
Because when you reach your max and you’re finally done carrying this shit,
you don’t have to wait months for relief.
That’s where EMDR Therapy Intensives come in!
This is a great fit for my over achieving adults who "got shit to do"
and are ready to finally face the f*ckery, process it at the root,
and walk away feeling lighter without spending years in therapy to get there.
This isn’t your standard, stop and start weekly therapy.
It’s a laser focused, deep-dive approach designed to accelerate your healing.
EMDR Therapy Intensives:
What They Are & Why They Help Hyper-Independent Adults
What Kinds of Trauma?
The obvious stuff: PTSD, childhood trauma, toxic relationships
The sneakier stuff: people-pleasing, attachment wounds, hyper-independence, high-functioning anxiety, chronic burnout
If it lives in your body, keeps you bracing for impact, or whispers “you’re too much” while demanding you keep it all together, that counts too.
Why It’s a Game-Changer
What would take months (sometimes years) in weekly therapy can happen in just a few focused, intensive sessions. We get in, do the real work, and help you break cycles that have kept you stuck, silent, or surviving.
It’s not always pretty. It’s not always gentle. But it’s absolutely worth it. And I don’t just believe in EMDR Intensives because I offer them, I believe in them because they’re a core part of my own healing journey.
What’s Inside an EMDR Intensive:
-

Initial 20-min FREE Consult
Before we go all in we’ll start with a FREE 20-minute Tele-health Intensive consultation to see if an EMDR Intensive is the best fit for you.
On this call, we’ll briefly talk about what’s been weighing you down, what you’re ready to work through, and any past experience you’ve had with EMDR or trauma therapy.
Think of it as a quick vibe check for your healing. If this intensive-style therapy is the best next step, we’ll map out a plan to help you stop just surviving and finally start feeling like YOU again.
-

90-min Intake Session
First thing is we’ll spend 90 minutes getting a full picture of you, your goals, your current struggles, and the heavy crap your nervous system’s been carrying.
We’ll start introducing grounding and regulation tools so your mind and body feel safe and ready for the work ahead.
You’ll also get a customized client workbook to complete before your EMDR Intensive, which helps us make sure your system is prepped and primed for reprocessing not blindsided by it.
This step is what makes the intensive hit deeper and work faster, because we’re not wasting time untangling surface-level chaos when we could be going straight for the root.

EMDR Intensive Session
This is where the real work happens. We’ll spend focused time using EMDR therapy to tackle the sh*t keeping you stuck; those distressing experiences, old patterns, and recycled stories running the show.
EMDR Intensives are offered in two formats:
1. The 8-Week Program: Bi-weekly 3-hour intensives with ongoing support, integration modules, and a guided healing structure
2. 1 or 2 Day Intensives: 3 or 4 hour (each day) reprocessing sessions for fast, targeted relief
Both formats use the same powerful EMDR process, the difference is simply how deep you want to go and how much support you want between sessions.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone (even if your default setting is “I Got It!”)
EMDR Intensives are a good fit for you if...
You’re a an over-achieving woman who’s tired of the same ol' and is ready for real progress fast, to get focused, do the deep work to process trauma, break old patterns, and finally release the shit that’s been holding you back.
If you’re dealing with childhood trauma, anxiety, burnout, or self-worth struggles, and you want to cut the bullshit and heal on your own damn terms, this is for you!
EMDR Intensives are NOT a good fit if...
You’re experiencing current or recent suicidality within the last 6 months, active substance misuse, or have been recently hospitalized for psychiatric care, an intensive might not be the safest option right now.
That being said, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all rule.
Everyone’s situation is unique, and there are always exceptions. If you’re unsure whether an EMDR intensive is right for you, let’s talk it through in a consultation. My priority is your safety and well-being, so we’ll make sure this approach is a good fit before we even start diving in.
I offer EMDR Intensives both in-person and via Telehealth but here’s the deal: because staring at a screen for hours melts your brain and actually messes with your ability to process, Telehealth Intensives might have longer break times.
And You MUST be physically located in Florida for Telehealth EMDR. No Florida address, no virtual intensive. I don’t make the rules, but I sure as hell have to follow them.
Telehealth or In-Person Intensives?

To secure your EMDR Intensive date, a non-refundable deposit (50% of your total cost) is required once we agree we are moving forward and scheduling your intensive package.
Once scheduled, I’ll hold your intensive dates for ONE week from day of scheduling. During that time, you’ll need to complete your ALL paperwork and assessments in the client portal. In addition to that you will need to download your treatment workbook or we can set up delivery of a physical copy.
The remaining balance is due in FULL the week of your intensive. If you’re booking a 2-day package, the FULL balance for both days must be paid the week of Day 1.
Example: EMDR Intensive day is Thursday, balance is due that Monday before.
I do offer flexible payment plans. These can be discussed during your consult to find the best fit for your needs.

Let’s talk moo-lah! EMDR Intensives are not covered by insurance. However, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for either all or a portion of the cost.
If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance might reimburse a portion of the cost, though don’t expect them to reimburse you or make it easy at all.
Your best bet? Call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask the right questions:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?
Do I have a deductible for out-of-network services? If so, has it been met?
What CPT codes do you reimburse?
Try asking about code 90837 and having two in one day.
Or how to bill for multiple/extended session time in one day without crisis.
What is the reimbursement rate for each billing code?
What is the allowable amount for reimbursement?
Many insurance companies set their own allowable amount for reimbursement. This means you will only get reimbursed their allowed rate not the full therapist/intensive rate.
Insurance companies love to be vague AF, so get clear answers before assuming they’ll cover anything. I can provide a super bill if you want to submit a claim, but payment is due in full prior to EMDR Therapy Intensive session regardless of insurance plans or allowable reimbursements.

Therapy Intensives work great as an adjunct to your current therapy if your current therapist does not offer EMDR. If you’re already working with a therapist, we can team up to make sure you’re getting the best support possible.
I do ask that you sign a Release of Information (ROI) so your therapist and I can collaborate to keep everything aligned with your healing goals because this is about you getting the most out of your therapy, no matter where you're at in the process.

To work with me, you will need to be physically in Florida. If you’re out of state, you can absolutely travel in for an EMDR Intensive package. We can discuss extended or additional days that fit your schedule.
Many times getting the hell out of dodge from your daily stressors lets you fully dive into this healing process, without the usual distractions pulling you back into bullshit survival mode. You get to hit pause on the chaos, go all in on your growth, and give yourself permission to focus solely on healing because you f*cking deserve it.
If you’re coming from out of state, keep this in mind: Your intake and followup session must be completed at time of EMDR Intensive. Once you leave Florida after your EMDR Intensive, I legally can NOT provide follow-up support.
Due to that a 2-Day EMDR Therapy Intensive or extended hours might be a better fit. Prior to scheduling your intensive we will create a game plan and make sure you have solid support system lined up for when you return home.
A little extra planning = the best chance for success at kicking ass in your healing journey!

EMDR intensives are a highly effective approach for PTSD and complex PTSD, often leading to faster symptom relief and fewer dropouts compared to traditional therapy.
This format is especially powerful for childhood trauma, neglect, and parenting wounds, allowing for deep trauma processing without the constant interruptions of weekly sessions.
Instead of wasting time on check-ins, updates, and wrap ups, EMDR intensives let you dive straight in and get real work done. By eliminating the stop-and-start of traditional therapy, EMDR intensives help you heal faster and more effectively.

Ready to work together?
No more waiting... it’s time!
You don’t have to keep carrying it all alone. If you're ready to stop just surviving and finally start doing the deeper healing work, you're in the right place.
I’m not currently accepting clients for weekly or biweekly sessions. Right now, I’m ONLY accepting new clients for EMDR Therapy Intensives.
Clients often say switching to intensives was the game-changer, it felt like they were finally cutting through the noise, after years of circling the same pain in weekly sessions that just didn’t go deep enough.
Ready to do the deeper work? Let’s get you unstuck.
